ZEPHIR
In this room, centuries hold their breath.
Botero's Dancers — voluminous, joyful, unapologetic — preside over the space like a heartbeat made visible, their crimson and emerald spinning eternally against gilded darkness.
Beside them, van Dongen's Portrait de femme watches from 1907 with that particular silence only painted eyes possess — knowing, oblique, already bored with the century ahead.
Beneath the plaster garlands of a Haussmann heaven, Pierre Chareau's table MB106 anchors the room in quiet genius — iron and wood in conversation so honest it feels like philosophy.
Around it, Ingrid Donat's chairs stand like sentinels cast from some primordial forest, their wrought forms echoing the branch-chandelier above, as though the room grew its own furniture from the earth upward.
At the centre Jean Michel Frank's sofa — ivory, restrained, perfectly still — offers the only pause in this gathering of masterminds. It does not compete. It simply receives.
The floor blooms beneath it all: a garden of crushed petals and light, iridescent, as if the house itself refused to be merely a backdrop.
This is not a room one decorates.
This is a room one composes.
