This curated tableau brings together a constellation of historical references, artistic mastery, and modernist elegance.

At the heart of the composition hangs Two Sisters (1944) by John D. Graham, a psychologically rich portrait that sets the tone for the surrounding arrangement. Beneath it, an attic red-figure neck amphora, attributed to the Painter of the Louvre Centauromachy, circa 475–450 BC, is placed atop a North Italian commode, late 18th century.

Flanking the amphora are two Picasso ceramics — evocative and expressive counterpoints that create a rhythmic visual balance.

On the floor lies La Promenade des Amis, a rug designed by Diego Giacometti in 1984, its naive animal motif offering a gentle, narrative charm that anchors the scene.

To the right, a lounge chair by Armand-Albert Rateau (circa 1925) exemplify French Art Deco sophistication, while a Roman marble portrait bust of a man, Antonine period, circa mid-2nd century A.D., is elevated on a classical pedestal — a timeless symbol of imperial presence.
