Beneath the glow of a Neo-Etruscan chandelier, the bronze figure of Robert Couturier leans forward, suspended between movement and stillness, while Maurice Dufrêne's curule stool rests with effortless confidence, as though anticipating an unseen guest.

At the heart of the room stands Marc du Plantier's cabinet—measured, restrained, almost architectural in its silence. It neither dominates nor disappears; it anchors the space, allowing every surrounding object to find its voice.

On one wall, Jacques Doucet's abstraction fractures memory into colour and rhythm. Opposite, Camille Bombois offers a timeless human presence, reminding us that every interior is ultimately inhabited by stories rather than furniture.

The infinite succession of doorways draws the eye beyond the visible, suggesting that beauty is never confined to a single room but unfolds through layers of discovery. Each threshold invites another conversation, another moment suspended between history and imagination.

This is not an interior designed to impress. It is one composed to linger in—a place where sculpture, painting, craftsmanship and light exist in quiet harmony, and where the past is not preserved behind glass but allowed to breathe.
