JUPITER

I have curated a pair of Ours Polaire armchairs by Jean Royère (circa 1950), accompanied by a pedestal crafted by Gilbert Poillerat for André Arbus around 1949. Atop the pedestal rests a striking Jean Dunand vase (1925) from the collection of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé.

The exquisite wall sconces, also by Gilbert Poillerat (circa 1925), were originally created for the decoration of the Château de Rambouillet. Completing the ensemble is the artwork Les Couturières (The Seamstresses) (1890) by Édouard Vuillard.
